Strepitosi animali, basta conoscerli un pochino meglio e si scoprono affascinanti meccanismi e organismi stupefacenti. Da biologa marina dico sempre che, prima di entrare in mare, è sempre meglio informarsi bene prima sui possibili incontri.
Detesto invece chi mi chiede "Ma come siamo messi con le meduse questa estate? Tra due settimane vado in ferie e vorrei poter fare il bagno!" Il più delle volte queste persone ignorano che i loro errati comportamenti quotidiani sono in parte responsabili dei boom di celenterati e che non basta preoccuparsi per il mare soltanto quando si va in ferie ma bisognerebbe farlo sempre.

Amazing animals, you just need to learn a bit more about them and you'll find out wonderful mechanisms and fascinanting creatures. I'm a marine biologist and I always say that before jumping into the sea, we've better learn about the species we could get in touch with.
I do dislike those who ask me "How is it going on with jellyfish this year? In a couple of weeks, I'm gonna go on holidays and I wanna swim!" Most of the time these people ignore that their wrong daily behaviors are responsible of the increasing jellyfish "booms". They should get interested in sea not just before leaving for their holidays but all year round.
